![]() July 2009 | It's not the first time that we have a Martin Wallace game as 'game of the month' - Wallace belongs to most prolific designers already rivaling Reiner Knizia in output. Wallace considers 'Automobile' to be his best game yet (he says that every time he publishes a new game) and there are some differences to earlier games of his. In comparison to more complex games like 'Brass' 'Automobile' is relatively simple, but has a high density of actions - each move counts and 'min/maxing' is necessary to make the most of them, as it is impossible to do everything at once. A fascinating game, and a relatively untrodden theme (car production) - exciting and recommended! |
