This time we received 84 solutions to our puzzle with 211 downloads of the puzzle file. It was a close race in the last few days before the deadline with steadily increasing results. Finally, we had a very close finish with an identical VP point difference and a decision based on the amount of rubels left.
Again, you had to try and play as many rounds as possible. This means that not too many buildings should come into the game. And secondly, one had to try and get as many nobels as possible from the upgrader stack, e.g. by using the observatory.
You can explore the full solution by downloading the result file of the winner; you can use the UNDO/REDO buttons to scroll backward/forward to exactly examine each move played!
The second winner was drawn from a hat on September 1st, 2005!
The winners of the 7th WPG Sankt Petersburg Puzzle are:
Rainer Elsäßer from Germany (best result) and Robert Birks from Australia (lucky draw) |
Congratulations to both of you from all the Westpark Gamers and the crew from Hans im Glück!
